Distribution: Common across Wiltshire. Identification: Most likely to be confused with the Common Blue Damselfly with which it shares many habitats. The common blue has a black circular mark, whilst the azure has a 'U' shaped black mark. The females are much harder to separate, the Common Blue female has a spine below abdominal segment eight which is missing from the Azure. County Status: Widespread
